The first still image was of 2 different women one with money and a family and a nonher having an scurrilous husband. Our second was the women with the abusive husband getting beat up, which ca utilize her to become homeless. Then the third one was the women on the street, homeless and the other women and her children seeing her helping her. In my group we discussed our ides and decided to develop them. We then use our mind map and research to help us get an idea. We all sat down and discussed our ideas. whatever of our ideas were to become homeless because of domestic abuse, creation evicted or being abandoned by parents.We did have some problems, we had a lot of people in our group so it was harder to naturalize and focus. We all overcome them by sense of hearing to each other. This also helped us improve our work by giving us more ideas to work with, .e.g. Dying because of being homeless, and being abu sed by father which we used. as well as we could make our performance longer.What worked well in our performance was our still images at the start some of us have our hands over our face to turn up being afraid. We also used levels. Then we came out of our freeze frame and utter what we were a victim of. We did this because it shows our audience that there is all kind of different reasons why people become homeless, and its not their fault. We also used vocal singing, Juliana and Hannah sang because of you which went well with the theme. The physical theatre we used worked well also when Sophie, Juliana and Callum repeated their movements (when the have found out about the father abusing his daughter). It showed that the abuse is being repeated over and over again. Sophie also used mimetic gestures. to a fault when the father (callum) went to punch the mother (Juliana) he used slow motion which was effective because it would have caught the audiences attention.It was good when we all repeated (after Juliana said Dont say a word) you heard her dont say a word. We repeated this 3 times because it was more effective than saying it once. Also I and 2 others in my group (Chloe and Nikky) spoke out of character to show how my character felt and it helped the audience understand the characters better about why they were homeless. We also did thought tracking. In our performance we also used a narrator this helped tell the story of what was going on. The narrator told the audience about the abuse that was happening to the child so the audience new exactly what was going on. Also our performance was non-naturalistic so it was different from everyone elses and make it better. At the end of our performance we had statistics which really help inform the audience about homelessness.I work out our performance would have been better if we added more scenes and made it longer. Also if we practiced a trash more so we dont forget bit of our performance. We could have put a scene in to show how horrible and unpleasant it is to live on the streets. We could have added more drama skills. It would have been better if we included a video about homelessness in our performance.I think our performance did inform the audience because our performance showed that there are lots of reasons why people become homeless. It showed how you become homeless and its not the type of people you always think that become homeless. We also included statistics which informed the audience what type of people are homeless and what per centum it is. We also informed the audience thats its children and teenagers that can become homeless not just adults.Our take aim audience was 13-18 year olds, to raise awareness to children about the issue of homelessness. I think it did suit our cross audience because our performance showed what types of people are homeless and why they become homeless. We also had a role-play in our performance about 3 teenagers living on the streets so i t would be easier for the target audience to refer to them. Also they can understand whats going on because there not too young. In my performance we showed them about being abused and not having anyone help you, so they understand that its not someone fault if they people homeless.In Abby Smiths group I thought what work well was she used a narrator which really helped tell the story. Also what worked well was the choral language and slow motion they did.I think she could improve by focusing and practicing more also adding more drama skills and making her performance much longer.

The Day I will always remember

Well what can I say somewhat this amazing night out? I knew from the moment that I heard it was confirmed to happen that it re wholey was going to be something special, after all it is (in my opinion) the greatest DJ on the planet playing in my favourite rules of order on the planet. I have been a serious fan of Lisa Lashes ever since I first heard her play in Spank Ceasers, Dundalk and I fell in love with her moral non-slacking style sour pure herculean signal. So naturally when I heard she was coming to play in The Met in that location was nothing on this planet that could s buy the far-offm me from witnessing this night.As for The Met, come up what can I say. Three things make it my favourite club in Ireland. Firstly a layout to die for consisting of one single huge tremendous off Arena. (Co-incidentally that is how it is cognise to the die-hard posse i. e. The Arena) With the dance floor being the lowest point, then theres the stage with dickens mischievous podiums, the household then works its way up a series of pumping balconies & staircases proficient to the very top mental balconies and the DJ box is situated vindicatory above the main stage.Secondly the abruptly prominent sound & light systems are both absolutely first class, I have been going to the Met for about 2 eld and I have never once witnessed any problems with the light-show or the sound system. sound but absolutely in no way least, the crowd. Every Saturday night the place is filled with mental up for it clubbers from all over the northerly and south of Ireland who I know all feel as passionate about the place as I do. At about 1200 when the place is at its peak if you stop for a second and take a look around at this alone(p) place it sincerely never fails to send goosebumps shooting all over your body.To put it in laymans terms The Met rocks the house every Saturday night without fail, and this one was gonna be twice as nuts The night started off in a small bar in Dun drum with the place slowly filling up with well up for it clubbers psyching themselves up for a truly unforgettable night. I was saddened by the fact that my usual partner & partner in crime Micky was unable to make it for the night (I know she would have felt right at home at a nuts night like this) but this just meant I was going to have to compensate by going twice as nuts.We arrived at about 800pm and already the place was bunged to the gills but Im glad that the Met had decided to stick to its Maximum capacity restriction of just slightly over 2,000 as we all feared we were gonna be crammed in like sardines. Though the place was packed you still had good room to walk about and generally go mad. The music was going unbelievable, the place was bouncing and you would have been forgiven if you had thought it was Lisa Lashes herself on the decks but it was none other than the resident DJ Mal benighted doing what he does best, whipping the crowd into an absolute frenzy.Then at 100 0 came the moment everyone had been waiting for. Marc farm horse winds the crowd up could you please give a warm Met welcome for the top Hard House DJ in the UK, FOR THE DJ LISA LASHES. The needle dropped and with that I swear to God in all my years of attending the Met I have never seen the place lose the plot like that. For the next two hours I got the full onslaught that you would only expect from Lisa Lashes and then some, no matter how mental I thought the next tune was gonna be it was always Harder and Faster than I expected.There was thumping baselines and a rolling galore all through her set and there was definitely parts of my brain moved(p) that night that were never reached before and more than likely allow never be again. Well thats a lie because just before the end of her set it was announced to the huge appreciation of the crowd that she will be re-visiting the Met again in the very near future. Gods Kitchen are taking up a monthly residency in the Met with Lisa and the equally hard and brilliant Fergie taking it month about to cause mayhem in Armagh. After Lisas set came on AJ Gibson who I had never heard of before but I really hope to hear of again.Although his set wasnt as hard and as furious as Lisas I believe it was a more intelligent set and I think he done really well considering he had such a hard act to follow. The second resident DJ of the night, the absolutely amazing Mandy Reid who sent the crowd nuts for the last half-hour or so of the night followed his set. I really do believe that the Met should be proud to have the two greatest DJs in the north of Ireland grace the decks there every Saturday night. Then the night as always in the Met came to an end far too early (it could end at 500am and it would still be too early) and it was of home in the hunt for a party.So after one of the greatest nights of my life I would like to thank, Gods Kitchen for there amazing dicor, dancers and crazy performers. The Met for, well simply for be ing the Met. Mal & Mandy for once again blowing my head of with the best in new and old trance & house. AJ Gibson for also doing an excellent job on the decks and finally Lisa Lashes for absolutely lachrymation the place up with the greatest style of music played in the greatest way possible, I look forward to seeing her again.
